Monroe County Capital Improvement Board is a group of volunteers, appointed by Monroe County and the City of Bloomington to refurbish and expand the Bloomington Convention Center, and oversee a process for selecting a hotel partner and the need for additional amenities, such as parking.

Upon completion of construction, the CIB will oversee operations of the new/remodeled convention center.
